“A terrific project milestone was accomplished in October when the last section of concrete deck was poured – our West Quay was then connected to our East Jetty by a fantastic new structure. During the close out phase of the project we saw a robust fendering system and bollard layout being installed, along with the commissioning of jetty services and high mast lighting. With the project achieving Substantial Completion in December, we were very happy to see it being brought into service shortly after – not only does this new structure give us additional berthing space, it also provides us with increased maneuverability for cranage and flexibility for operations within Foynes Port.”
