“During this period, we were happy to see the commissioning of the new molasses pipeline and high mast lighting as well as the completion of the western revetment and final finishes to the reclamation surface – with all project milestones successfully achieved we accepted handover of the project. The new infrastructure provides Foynes Port with operational flexibility and increased quayside storage. The new East Jetty Reclamation coupled with the recently completed East-West Jetty Extension project facilitates mooring of vessels in increased numbers and size as well as providing increased port related operational capacity.”
